Lynden Performing Arts Guild presents "Proof" by David Auburn, directed by Teri Grimes. "Proof" is the poignant drama about Catherine, the devoted daughter of a famous mathematician who suffers from schizophrenia. Has Catherine inherited her father’s genius or his madness? The play is a story of relationships and the search for truth. The play is not suitable for young children due to mature themes and some mild language. “The play is so beautifully written that it won both the Pulitzer Prize for drama, as well as a Tony award for Best Play on Broadway in 2001. It was made into a movie with Gweneth Paltrow and has seen huge success in regional theatres throughout the country. I have loved this play for a long time and am excited about this opportunity to share it with the community,” said Director Teri Grimes. *Contains some mature content considered not suitable for some audiences*
