We work alone, in a coffee shop, in scraps of time at our dining room table, in a studio for hours. If we share our work publicly, it's often to strangers on the Internet. What does it mean to have Christian community in our creative work? How do we engage with Christ's hospitality in these practices? What does it mean to support another Christian writer/musician/artist? How do we seek others along a similar creative journey when our work is so deeply personal, and our weeks so very full? T?his is the theme of the first-ever Storyboard event, and we'd love to have you! ?? What it is: a get-together to connect with Christian creatives based in Whatcom County. (If you're out of the region, you're very welcome to join too!). ?? What to expect: a short casual program of art, poetry and song, and time to meet, chat, and discuss posted questions about finding community as Christian creatives. The event time window is to allow for ease of coming & going; the structured program will be brief, to the point, and beautiful! ?? Where: the Ten Mile Grange at 6950 Hannegan Rd, Lynden WA ?? What to bring: a piece of art, or a song you wrote, or a typed piece of your writing for our Art Gallery The event is completely free but RSVPSs are required; bring a friend!
