The Inn at Lynden

A “Unique Boutique” in downtown Lynden

The Waples Mercantile Building is the vibrant new home for The Inn at Lynden, one of very few hotels in Washington State that resides in a structure listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It is also one of the few hotels that shares it’s home with a number of different and exciting restaurant and retail merchants. Perhaps best of all, it’s one of the few hotels that will let you borrow their bikes!

Each of the 35 rooms offers stylish and serene comfort housed in a genuinely historical setting that highlights elements of the building’s rich history. Choose from one of 19 Town Rooms, 9 Loft Rooms or 6 Skywell Suites. Or, splurge and treat yourself to a stay in the deluxe Celebration Suite. You will find each room presents a distinctive personality that provides for a unique guest experience.

LYNDEN: THE BEST IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!

YOU DESERVE THE BEST, BUT IT DOESN’T JUST COME TO YOU. YOU MUST SEEK IT OUT. FIND IT.  CAPTURE IT. BUT IT IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

The BEST places to stay, the BEST places to eat, the BEST places to shop, the BEST places to have fun. LYNDEN, simply stated, has the BEST. In the words of baseball legend Dizzy Dean, “It ain’t braggin’ if you can back it up.”

Now, this isn’t some cheesy marketing, it’s sharing information about our great community. When we have something great, we tend to want to share. We like meeting people from all over the world, and we hope to see YOU in Lynden!

Does it get any cuter than this? Come on, ducks, kids, a pond, in the woods. The only thing missing is YOU!

We had to choose between pictures of the mini-golf, paddle boats, Kamping Kabins (it’s a KOA, not a misspelling) , swimming pool, playgound, the bigger pond, bike trails, etc, etc. But these two are just so darn cute!

Yep! The national award-winning Lynden KOA (above) is located right in town, just about 1-mile from America’s Main Street, so awarded to downtown Lynden after a national vote!

Camping not your thing? Downtown Lynden offers TWO of the BEST lodging experiences, right in the heart of the action! Both The Mill Inn, the BEST lodging in a windmill (whose blades actually turn!) and The Inn at Lynden, located in the award-winning BEST restored building in the Northwest, as awarded by the Northwest American Institute of Architects.

The attention to detail and ability to save such structural components as the original wood floors and beams, while including the most modern conveniences, was a large part of why The Inn at Lynden is nationally recognized as one the finest building restorations in the Pacific Northwest!

So you have a choice: The best, or the best. You choose! And click here for other options! We are blessed to have a number of partners in and around the Lynden community!

Not only can you stay in a windmill at The Mill Inn, you can enjoy the BEST at The Mill Restaurant by Perfectly Paired on the main floor, serving the BEST in meats, cheeses, wines, and hand-crafted spirits from around the globe, in addition to a few northwest offerings we like to keep a secret! Eat, drink and enjoy the best!
