Lynden’s 22nd annual holiday celebration begins at 6:00pm with the beloved Lighted Christmas Parade, where visitors are treated to holiday carolers & a dazzling display of lighted trucks, cars, floats, wagons, farm equipment, & more!
The procession starts at Fairway Center and travels along Front Street throughout downtown Lynden.
- NEW! This year’s parade will end with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony sponsored by PSE! The ceremony will be held at Front & 4th Street immediately at the end of the parade as the last entry reaches 4th street.
- NEW! “Let Lynden Bring Christmas to You!” Join us for the “Elf on the Shelf” Scavenger Hunt in downtown Lynden! The hunt will begin at 1:00 p.m. until 5:30. Find the elves in businesses downtown, text the codes to an assign phone number, and your name may be drawn to win a pile of Christmas gifts. - Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet are coming back to town to spread traditional Dutch holiday cheer! Bring the whole family to visit Sinterklaas from 2:00-3:00p.m. at the LyndenPioneerMuseum (217 Front Street.) A brief story telling and singing program will kick off the event, and then the kids can visit Sinter. Bring your camera!
